Homemade Beef Stew

Ingredients:

  • TJ's Filet Mignon Roast, 16 oz
  • Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped
  • Cooked Onion, 1 cup
  • *Celeriac, 1 cup
  • Celery, raw, 1 stalk, large
  • Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices
  • Kirkland Crumbled Bacon Bits, 3 tbsp
  • *Squash, winter, hubbard, raw, 2 cup, cubes
  • *Better than boullion beef flavored base – 1 tsp, 12 tsp
  • Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 3 tsp
  • *Garlic Paste – 1 oz (76g), 1 serving
  • Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp (can be left out)
  • 1 cup hot water
Servings: 10

Instructions:
  1. Cut up all veggies except mushrooms into bits size pieces
  2. Cube the beef and braise in heavy bottom 6 Q + dutch oven or sauce pan
  3. Add bacon bits
  4. Add all veggies and stir until slightly softened
  5. Add sugar, boullion and worcestershire sauce to one cup of hot water and stir until blended
  6. Add to pot
  7. Let simmer (30 minutes ish) until everthing is at the softness you like
  8. Add mushrooms, stir and serve
  9. Serving Size: Makes 10 1 cup servings
